Get your child a pet preferably a puppy.( Dont go for high breeds , but rescue a homeless puppy from the streets or dog pounds) Having a pet increases immunity and is good for the psychological growth of the child. This is more so if your child is a single child

a good informative article. it is very true that exposure to simple fevers and colds increases the childs immunity as this develops the antibodies in the childs body which work for its defence against such infections in future. therefore next time your child suffers from minor ailments, be easy with those heavy medicines.
