Express Yourself with Bollywood Music

Express Yourself with Bollywood Music

We can express our deepest emotions though music. Music is the heart and soul of the Hindi film industry.

Music can help express our emotions flamboyantly. Arrival of rain, sorrow of a heart break, innocence of the first love which is often described as 'pehla pyar' in Hindi songs, and joy of celebrations, everything can be expressed with music. Music is an expression of emotions. Music is all about love, joy, surprise, anger, sadness, and fear. Hindi movie songs are full of emotions.

There are songs that define the first sight of love, there are songs that calm down broken hearts, there are songs that celebrate victories, and there are songs that soothe the pain of loss. Bollywood music has billions of songs that can express billions of emotions.

Express your love

Did you listen to love songs when you found your love interest? The sight of first love is often followed by listening to the romantic tunes and all time favourite love songs. Movies like Aashiqui, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, 1942 A Love Story, and Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein have given us great love songs with melodious music. These songs are enough to express emotions like ecstasy, obsession, and pleasure that signify a four letter word, love.

Express your anger

Bollywood music has given us a bunch of songs to express emotions like victory, superiority, and even rivalry. Songs like Aa dekhe jara kisme kitan kitna hai dum, Baar Baar Haan, Bolo Yaar Haan, Apni Jeet Ho, Unki Haar Haan, and Hum Bhi Hain Josh Mein are perfect to describe the competition that is going on between two people or two groups.

Express your bonding

Where there are relations there will be emotions. Bollywood music has songs for every occasion and for every relation. There are Rakshabandhan songs that summarise the bond of brother and sister. There are marriage songs that denote excitement of getting married. There are, of course love songs that explain the purity of the most beautiful emotion in the world. There are songs for mothers, for fathers, for daughters, and for sons. There are songs that show the passion and love of a soldier towards his nation.

Variety of songs

Bollywood movies have pop songs, Bhangra, Ghazals, and Remixes. Oldies are like evergreen. Songs by Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammad Rafi, and SD Burman are all time favorites. These songs add charm to every orchestra or musical night. Meri Sapno Ki Rani, the song of legendry singer Kishore Kumar conveys the message of a young man who is waiting for his dream girl to come in his life. A.R. Rehman has given his music to movies like Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Saathiya, Dil Se, and one that yet to release, Ghajini. A song's each and every part, no matter whether it is tune, composition, voice, or rhythm, can express our deepest emotions with ease.

Effects of music

The kind of music you choose to listen says everything about how you are feeling. On the other hand music can influence your current feelings. If you are feeling blue then listening to a chirpy song can make you feel good. A happy tune could be a good mood enhancer. In the same way, if you are listening to a sad song, you may end up feeling gloomy and sad. Emotions expressed by a song could make you recall certain life experiences. You could easily relate with some songs. Music truly can be the voice of our emotions.

Music is a wonderful medium to express your feelings, your emotions, your mood, and your temper. Music can make you feel relaxed. "Music speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it rest, heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from heaven to the soul," the quote is enough to know the power of music. Music and emotions have some deep relation. So, what emotion are you expressing though music today?
