Good for Heart

Then, walnuts are beneficial to people who are Hypercholesterolemic, having issues with postprandial endothelial function and coronary heart diseases.

Reduces the Risk of Diabetes

Around 1 ounce or 30gm of walnuts reduces the risk of the development of type 2 diabetes by almost 30% compared to those who have not taken the nut at all in their diet. High in Omega 3 Fatty Acid

It has been found that about 28-30 walnuts a day contain enough antioxidants and Phytosterols that can effectively reduce the risk of the occurrence of breast cancer in women. Studies conducted on participants have been noted that a daily diet containing about 60gm of walnuts results in marked reduction of breast tumour incidence and growth.

Walnut and walnut oil is effective in equipping the body to deal with daily stress in our everyday lives. It is helpful in lowering the resting blood pressure along with the blood pressure that surges in stressful situations. The benefits are even more intense when walnuts are complemented with healthy dietary changes.

There are all-round benefits of having walnut or walnut oil in daily diet. Most of the researches have been conducted on mice or participants to gauge the benefits and results on the motor, heart and cognitive functions. walnuts are a good source of protein and the healthy fats, plus the very important omega 3 fatty acids. Their considered brain food. They have essential fats and this also improves memory. Really walnuts are a great food.
