Rich in Carbohydrates

Carbohydrates are the main energy provider for the body; kids at this tender age need a lot of energy to play and do other activities. Apples are also rich in dietary fiber which helps the kids maintain a healthy bowel system keeping them full for a prolonged period of time. Fiber also provides the required amount of energy for your kids.

Rich in Vitamin C

Vitamin C is required by the body every day because the body cannot store this Vitamin C. Apples are absolutely fat free. So if you give an apple every day to your kids there is no need to worry. Your kids can easily munch on an apple every day to keep themselves full for quite sometimes. Apples are a great source of antioxidants. Consuming food that contains antioxidants helps in the prevention of the damage that is caused due to the oxidation of the cells throughout the body. Antioxidants do not allow the excess fat to get deposited in the body thereby lowering the risk of heart diseases later in life for kids.
Antioxidants also have anti ageing effects and helps maintain youth for long. It prevents memory loss because it has the ability to maintain the brain cells for a prolonged time communication and development of strong connection and coordination between the nerve cells.
