The news of Shahrukh Khan’s surrogacy controversy came into the picture when a certain senior official of the Maharashtrian government reported that the BMC or the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has undertaken the verification of reports where some NGO has demanded an enquiry. It was later learnt that a certain NGO along with the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association has demanded an enquiry on whether Shahrukh Khan has flouted the pre-birth sex determination tests. BMC officials visited Shahrukh Khan’s residence for enquiry and confirmation, but since the actor was away, he could not be contacted.
