need ur urgent help. my gynae told me that i suffer from endometrium tb after doing biopsy but i had a doubt so got my blood test done that is quantiferon tb gold test which came out -ve.
has anyone gone thru same thing ? am i really suffering from tb or shd i take an 2nd opinion.

Dear Prerna,
TB has a very characteristic appearance on endometrial biopsy. It is highly unlikely that an Indian pathologist has got it wrong.It is possible to have TB only in the womb and not in the rest of the body. Taking TB medication will help you get pregnant in future. If in doubt, do get a second opinion. You can ask for the slide of the endometrial biopsy to be seen by a different pathologist.
