Trying since long:What is cystic follicle?

Name: Akshaya Hi.. We have been trying for last 4 months with no success. Took scan on 24th day of my cycle. Doctor says everything is normal. But in the scan report, its written as cystic follicle found in left ovary which measures 34x27 mm. Would like to know what this cystic follicle is? Thanks in advance for your help.

cystic follicle

A cystic follicle is just a follicle that has gone bigger than usual. Most follices usually release the egg when the follicle is around 21 mm. Your specialist may either scan you again or ask you to take a short break before starting clomiphene again.
