Hi,

My son is 10 months plus and I am breatfeeding him 2-3 times a day. I want to feed him well past his first birthday. I would appreciate all experiences with feeding past the 1 year mark. Till what age max. did you feed the baby?

Thanks,
Parul.

hi friends,
my daughter is 17 & halfg mths. old & i'm breastfeeding her once in the noon & then in the night....i know it's really good experience but i guess by the time your baby is 7-8 mths. old intoduce her to formula/cow milk atleast 1-2 times a day b'coz that will later on help u in weaning.....as in my case my daughter never wanted to eat anything neither milk she just wantedto be breastfed so sometimes it was a problem so i restricted her feedings & then gradually started giving her milkshakes & now also added a small cup of milk in a day plus my feeding at her nap times....& now when i'm trying to wean her completely she's still not ready....so i guess it gonna take another 3-4 mths...to completely take her off from my breast...so keep up the breastfeeding but do keep in mind that weaning is going to be time consuming as the child grows older & u have to be very patient so plan atlest3-4 mths. ahead...best of luc...

Hi sara

did u feed any other formula milk when u were breast feeding. Is breast milk for baby for that age. i have a 11 month baby who is fully breast fed but my worry is whether breast milk is enough for her. How did u start other milk after 1 yr and 10 months, how did baby react to it
