Hi ,
My baby is 3 months old.He seems to be very uncomfortable (read cries) while passing urine/potty.My wife is in Vijaywada (this place is very hot though we have AC).Not sure if this is because of heat.We have started homeopathy medication for him but it is not helping much.PLease let me know if a 3 month old can use homeopathy medicine and also suggest me a solution to my problem.
Thanks,
Ramesh

if your wife is breastfeeding, cut on hot foods like methi/fenugreek, or chillis or shallots/onions, ginger or garlic and see if helps.
offer him sauf water once a day, 2-3tsp and see if it helps,,,however if he is sensitive to catching cold, avoid tryin this remedy.
ne cryin that is related to passnig bowels or during urine, is a sign that your baby needs to be checked by your Allopath dr..its better to get the tests done and get them \" normal\" thn to just keep wondering about it.
3months is not a age to try alternative medicine...esp when it comes to bowel and bladder related issues or vominng, loose motions or fevers.
some babies also had some mild urinary track infections,,when such a sign was seen, but at 3months its too early for your child to have it,,unless you are not practicing good hygne or diaper changing practices...ne redness around the opening of anal area or private part,,should be checked in day light(not in the tubelight but open the windows, shut off the lights and check in the natural day light)
check the colour of bowels and urine,,ne colour thn normal should be reported to your dr..take the diaper to your dr so that immediate advice might work out something and you might not have to see your child go thru stool test or urine test...
good luck

RE:Baby cries while passing urine - Hetal pls advice
At the same time the child is feeling some pain So try to understand and consult a doctor.... - sharmasanvi [View Message]
RE:bowel movement in 2 week old infant
Some babies go through phases when they either can't use the muscles to empty their bowels or they "forget how to". In that case, it's safest keep using the suppositories daily to make them do a dirty in 5 minutes.... - Su 03 [View Message]
RE:where can I get laxative?
You can get either glycerin or bisacodyl suppositories in any Indian pharmacy - I recommend saving money by not buying child-size ones, instead cutting adult supps in half to make a child-size dosage.
(I have a daughter with long-term bowel issues: she can't "do" without them!)... - Su 03 [View Message]
RE:constipation
When the baby is in discomfort from constipation (especially if she hasn't done some dirty for two days or more), the first thing you should give is a glycerin suppository.... - Su 03 [View Message]
RE:hi
Most doctors say banana doesn't help - the potassium in it makes constipation worse. Remember you can make your own prune puree in a blender. Grape, grapefruit and papaya are also laxative fruits. And remember you can safely use baby suppositories as often as you need to (they also help with "training" the baby to do a dirty at the same time every day)... - Su 03 [View Message]
RE:Baby Movements/Development
Consult a good doctor immediately as this should not be ignored as it will cause a big issue if you let it go now, please seek doctors advice on immediate basis.... - Aditi [View Message]
RE:Baby Movements/Development
Hi there please be calm and relax as it happens sometime the child takes little time to start walking or crawling also but in your case the child should have started crawling if not walking.... - Anita [View Message]
