Role of in-laws:to Ritu- naming the baby

Hi Ritu,

I will suggest you a diplomatic way. In most of the countries (as you are abroad) you have to give the baby's name to the hospital on the first day itself.

Try to convince your husband that he gives the name which you chose in a peaceful way. Once that is done, it would be too late to do anything.

As your MIL or SIL would be there(his wish). As you are giving birth to a child, you have a right to have your wish fulfilled too. Atleast as a present from his side . Keep it confidential and give it to the hospital.

My child was born( as we both were there). We called the parents of both sides in India, saying you have a grandchild now named ABC.All conversations to name were taken to rest.

All the best. Have courage for your child.

Later you have to bring him up. Nahin to yeh nahin khana, yeh nahin pehanana, list is endless

We were both wo... - Tina Shah [View Message]
RE:self centered inlaws
I agree they have completely double standards as I recently found out. I saw my husbands childhood photos when he was young. His parents claim they sacrificed everything for their kids and lived poor and behave like martyr parents. Got treated as free domestic servant. But the photos showed them dressed like Bollywood stars with watches and jewellery enjoying their life. O... - Tina [View Message]

RE:Mother-in-law spoiling my child
hello kajal,
if you are rudely talking with her, then this is not way to talking with your mother in law, you tell her in polite way, your son is her grand son, so she never think about his bad effects.... - ruchita [View Message]
