I was working for 6 years before taking a break on account of my first born.But now that I am planning to get back to working all I am faced with is how will you manage??My only experience has been in sales and being a star performer I thought getting a job will not be so difficult anybody got any ideas on part time jobs being offered in mumbai??? andrea replied. im a working mother and i started work after my baby was just 2 mths old & believe me i was dead worried just like u but then my mother in law was there to take care of my baby so i felt better & once at home i take care of her completely & spend quality time with her so in your case it dpends who is going to be taking care of her when u are away dont let others thinking bog u down u can always work and raise a child and once your child is a little big u can send him / her to a playgroup and u wont feel so guilty then. hi, I was a full time office goer till some months ago. While looking for a decent daycare for my son, it struck me that none of the available options were what I wished for my son. then I decided to do something to fill this gap, since I feel too strongly about the right of mothers to work outside home, and also the right of their children to a happy, enriched childhood experience. I have worked for a long time as well and went back to work when my child was 5 months old. I hated it but I knew that was what I wanted. I told my husband that I will need your support and help when I return. We have had countless arguments on this because he didn't help around the home but his expectations of things I did before slowly faded. You need your husbands support and help with your new baby unless of course you have help at home. I live out of India so I can not give you any help on the job area, but you can manage with support and help from your family and that is what you need to tell them. Good luck and be strong.
