Just wanted to know if these is any cure for PCOS with Glucophage(metformin) Will it regularise my periods and help me getting preg. Also hav anybody tried it before? plzz help me as i hav an appointment wth my doc. tommorow so wanted to talk to her abt it.

Yes, Metformin is usually the first step towards curing PCOS these days. Studies have shown that many women with PCOS were given metformin and it helped them regularize their periods, bring in ovulation and even help them become pregnant. If by chance you unfortunately do not get pregnant during that time then you are put on a combination of Clomid and metformin which doubles your chances.

Im suffering from PCOS too and my doc has put me on metformin for 6 months and told me that I have a good chance of falling pregnant during these 6 months.
