my daughter is 6yrs old and is very stubborn,she never listens to anybody and ignores every instructions although she understands everything.She goes on doing the same task inspite of telling her no repeatedly.This tends to lose my temper and then i either scold her badly or spank her.I need a solution to the same Payal raval replied. Hold your temper in check and never resort to hitting the child. I do understand that such stubborness in a child is exasparating as it is worrying! My newphew used to be adamant like your daughter and my sister used to hit him. I discussed this with my child' s school teacher @ Orchids International and other parents to devise sme sort of stratgey - for instance, he wouldnt stop playing even after 2 hours and would be adamant about it. We came up with the following - we used to show him the watch and tell him that he is starting now (point to the watch) and heshould complete when the watch shows such and such time and if he listened, my sis would give him a chocoloate that he loved and other such startegies.
