Thanks a lot for ur immediate response. I was put on clomid immediately as I had irregular periods before. So, the gynac just asked me whether I am ready for the side effects and the possibility of multiple births on clomid.

My gynac did not show any concern as to starting clomid so soon in TTC. Also, Tomm I am going in the morning for the insulin and hormonal bloodwork and for snonogram. I too feel the same that, before putting me on clomid for last 4 months my gynac should have done my bloodwrok before hand and done my husband's semen test too. Also, I have already taken 4 months of clomid and now I can take for 2 more months and stop them for sometime. My gynac did notr call me for any follicular test during the 4 months on clomid too. That she said she'll do this month now.

My question is, does taking clomid directly before trying for few months natural way harm or lower my chances of ovulation?

Ruhi. archie replied. clomid has side effects and were mentioned to you. But it won't affect your chances of conception.
All together sounds like your Dr. should have performed blood work and semen, lets not talk whats bygone.
