hetal thanks a lot or the reply. i can understand what u are going through right now and how difficult it is for to keep up with the postings...hey my mom always says one thing.. ' Joh na kare dava, woh kare duva' think u will have ample of DUVA' S.
hetal i do have updates.
my son was put on a 100 oya diet for weeks and the next weeks he was on soya and ZOTON SUSPENSION. with the introduction of soya and eliminating cows milk the vomtting went down by 50 and the next two weeks with the zoton it went down like 70. so after that when i had a visit to the pediatrician we did have a allergy test done. and there were no ood allergies. he was only allergic to the dust mites. to tell i dont know what all he was tested for. the doc said it was a pediatric test. now on the 24th of this month we have a barium swallow.
hetal the thing is in last months my son has had twice ear infetion and now he has toncilites. so he has been on antibiotics for too long. from past one mnth he doesnt even eat what i had mentioned n my last post. now he is just not ready to have any thin in the morning. he has milk and then directly has lunch that too he is not really happy to have it. basically he has two bites of it and then just refuses to eat. somehow i try to get something through him ut it is much less than what he used to have earlier. and then milk at 3 again and then dinner and milkbefore he goes to bed. this thing about his eating has left me extremely stressed out. i just dont know what to do. my pediatrician hs told me to give him PEDIASURE. hetal what do u have to say about PEDIASURE??? if u think i should introduce pediasure than how much should i give him. some moms have told me to give him multivitamins and protien powder. i have no clue what to do. pls help me. and about his chewing ..... now i notice that if he wants to eat something than he does chew a bit better than what he did fifteen days back.
i will keep a check on his tools to see if there is undigestd food. hetal i have no clue ow to make my lil have have a taste for food. he is just not interested in it. h doesnt even like any junkies.
hetal generally my son wakes up around 6 - 6.30 and has a nap by 10 and sometimes i see he sleeps a bit longer than usual like for 2 hours....but onces he is up he is quite active and then around 4 - 4.30 he is tired again but makes a lot of fuss to sleep. is this usual for kids to sleep twice or it might be due to lack of energy since he doesnt have enough???
there are lots of things i would like to ask but i hink u to busy right now so whatever u could tell me would be great help. and pls tel me about pedia sure and multivitamins. riht now he is 22 month old weighing around 10.5 kgs with a height of 84 cm and head circumference 47 cms. is he too small for his age???
i willpray that both u' re lil onces get better and ofcourse u ..we all need u badly. actually i am very new to the INDIA PARNTING but it doesnt feel like.
thanks a lot........

Try offering some rice krispes kind of cereal that has Mickey or any other cartoon characters on it...They will be easier and fun to eat...Did you try Dole/Del monte fruit cups that has fruits such as peaches/pineapple/apple in fruit juice with no sugar/less sugar added.
The fruits are so soft that your kid will not find it difficult to have them.

Try it very slowly but don' t give up. Take care!

Hello,

My daughter had vomitting till she was 2 years which used to be severe till 15 months and gradually reduced. She had all barium, allergy tests and took Prevacid (for acid reflux). If your kid is not interested in milk, try offering yoghurt (yobaby, Yoplait). If he prefers cheese, try giving american cheese singles (1 slice has up to 35% calcium). And my daughter had texture sensitivity too. She won' t even take banana or ground rice with dal and it took nearly 28 months for her to accept all texture. Even now, she doesn' t take any kind of food on her own. I am force feeding her till today (32 months). Try giving here biscuits soaked in warm water or milk.
All the best!
