My child also has fear of doctors and fear of dentists but we cannot avoid going to the doctor or dentist because regular dental check ups are important for children. Childhood fears and anxieties can be overcome with support of parents. Some children are so afraid of the dark that their heartbeat increases.

Yes, my child is very afraid of thunder and lightning. Whenever, thunder or lightning can be seen, he gets very scared and will come to his parents. He also gets afraid of insects and animals. Other children like to touch the dogs and pet it. But I have seen he gets very scared of dogs and to go near them also.
