best to start wheat is offering wheat chappati soaked in dal !
whenever you offer cows milk, make sure you start from morning feed first and keep an eye on his intake of solids,,when started with full fat cows milk, many kids have shown heaviness for first few days and due to that, they wouldnt take the solids for first few days of cows milk feeds...
so offer the qty that balances milk and food,,as now both will go hand in hand, and now you have to work on your child to make him eat properly,,and milk feeds would reduce to 3 servings only,,,not more !
if your child vomits with cows milk,,remove the cream(after boiling, the cream layer is formed, and see if it helps ! ),
offer it with some sugar and see if that helps,,,just put the sugar name sake,,,
offer it in diff temperature,,sometimes that way they accept it.
if he accepts other foods with cows milk, just increase the milk qty in those foods and reduce the solid in it,,and let him drink that milk !
offer a seperate serving of yogurt, and cheese as a diff mini meal,,to make sure he takes enough milk products/calcium n vit d..or required proteins of milk..
avoid offering directly cracked wheat as a form of poridge as an introduction to wheat prroducts,,best is roti soaked in dal or curry or curd/yogurt!
rest savitha has given you good answer,,should help !

hi no need to dilute cow' s milk..u need to mic both formula n cowsmilk untill he accepts whole cow' s milk..first mix 95% of formula n 5% of cow' s m,ilk.then increase it to 90:10...then 80:20 then 50:50 finally give whole cow' s milk without mixing...see whether he accepts...chappathi iz the best which iz made of wheat...craked wheat can also b given in the form of porridge.
