Name: Joe

Hi All,
My baby 9 motnhs old his bw was 3.8 kg and now he is 7.8. 2 weeks back we travelled with the baby. After that we feel that his weight is reduced and not taking as mu8ch food as before.
My diet chart is as follows
8 am - cereloc wheat orange or formula milk 120ml
11 am - idlies or Porridge(Made of rice powder, wheat powder, ragi powder, little of channa dal, ghee 3 drops)
2pm - mashed vegetables (carrot, beans, beetroot, babycorn, peas, soya, palak, moongdal, garlic(little),curryleaves)
5.30 pm - apple puree and karala banana puree
7.30 or 8 - cerelac or formula milk

At nights for him breat feed. He is not interested in formula milk, that is why i introduced cereloc.

Can anyone suggest me whether I am following correct chart or not. if not ciuld you please provide.

Thanks,
Joe.

8 am - cereloc wheat orange or formula milk 120ml ////

11 am - idlies or Porridge(Made of rice powder, wheat powder, ragi powder, little of channa dal, ghee 3 drops) //// avoid channa dal,,,replace toor dal !

2pm - mashed vegetables (carrot, beans, beetroot, babycorn, peas, soya, palak, moongdal, garlic(little),curryleaves) ////// no comments,,can you add rice to this and make it a khichadi type of combo !

5.30 pm - apple puree and karala banana puree ///// offer other fruits too and instead offer juices with chopped fruits.

7.30 or 8 - cerelac or formula milk ///// start your baby with family meals without spices !

your child is gettng too much of wheat diet in first part of the day and it doesnt seem to be doing much good to him,,thats what is reflectd in his wght too ! esp if the wght was of same % before and aftr travel...during travel times,,its quite likely that food wasnt taken care of on timely basis,,and its quite normal to happen...

about other things,,at 9months, please go thru 9month old diet chart,,i dont see many things in your baby diet chart,,addin those and it should help.
try to offer her balanced diet instead of one type of diet (wheat diet or raagi all the time diet),,,add in more alternatives as and when your baby grows...

if your baby seems to be ignoring formula feeds, try changing the brand and see if it helps her to take it. breastfeed as often as required.
the above chart should assist you with the rest details.

the timings are good...just balance the food with types of foods and varieties.
