Can anybody please tell me about how to stop breastfeeding habbit to my 14mnts old baby boy.i really want to stop him now... supriyasanoj replied. This is what i did for both my kids and it really worked for me,you too try it.
in day time at his feeding time you can give him whole milk or any other foods he like or distract him by playing with him or watching his favorite shows or just carrying him and dance.finish his dinner early to his bed time and just before and make sure that he doesnt sleep in the evening time and just before bedtime give him some warm milk and he will sleep easily or you can rock him to sleep.
In the night time keep some warm milk in the flask and medicine dropper or filler nearby your bed and give him milk with the filler whenever he gets up to feed.so within 3 or 4 days he will forget about breastfeeding.
you can do this slowly by skipping one feed at a time,if you feel that you will get engorged or so.but make sure that he get all his fluid intake and atleast 14 to 18 ounces of milk in a day.so take care.
