Is it safe to go out during eclipse during pregnancy? Lot of elders say that it is very harmful for pregnant women to step out of house during eclipse and also pregnant women should not eat anything during eclipse. Is it true or its just some stupid myth? Ladies please reply before the eclipse start.

It is myth that harm is caused due to eclipse rays to pregnant women. However, pregnant women should take doctors advice if they have any queries regarding eclipse and pregnancy. You should consult a well experienced doctor in this matter so that you and your baby are safe.

It is said that eclipse rays are very harmful so pregnant women should not go out during eclipse also she should not do anything during eclipse as it may affect baby' s growth and organs. Is it true? Has anybody got to say anything about it?

Hi Supriya, It is better to consult your doctor before having any perceptions regarding eclipse and pregnancy. Many elders say that eclipse have ill effects on the growth of the baby. I have not experienced it personally, but you should talk to your doctor regarding this.
