Hi,
I had my 32 week scan yesterday, Completed 32WEEKS 1DAY. Scan shows that my fluid level is reduced current value is 8.6, it was normal in 22 week scan.
Anyone else facing/faced same problem, wt ur doctor has suggested, wt we should eat/drink to increase fluid level.I didn' t get much info on internet on this.

Congrats to you that you have to be very careful regarding medicines at this stage.Because any high dosage medicine may effect the baby also.So it is better try to improve the fluid in natural process. Swetha replied. Hi Rupal,

Can you share which medicine you had used for the problem you are facing because it would be so useful for all the people and they too will try with that medicine if they have any problem also. ami replied. My wife went throught the 24 week scan the detected lower amniotic fluid and also Bilateral notching (blood flowign to the Placenta low)..has anyone experinced this so early and if there are message forums/pages which can help. I faced similar problem 1month back (in my 5th mth). My doc suggested me high protein diet, with Sujat and Aminofit capsules twice a day..
Things improved significantly within a month. I am back to normal. He also suggested me 15days best rest (as I am working). Also, u should take a very healthy diet, lots of sprouts, cereals, Paneer, fluids - coconut water, buttermilk, etc.,I started taking Threptin biscuits, I think that has helped me a lot. All the best ..take care Deepa replied. even i experienced same pblm in my 30th week whr my amniotic fluid index showed 9.was suggested by doctor to take ARG-9 powder that comes in sachet.took 3 sachets a day till my 32nd week scan.and at my 32nd week scan liquor volume or amniotic fluid index showed 15.great improvement na.and frm now has been asked to take 2 sachets daily. suma replied. hi,

pls dont worry. i also had the same problem when i was 8 months pregnant. i was advised to take plenty of fluits, water in particular and to be in bed rest for two weeks. The fluid level increased and I had a cute baby boy. gayathriram replied. hi rupal
i had the same problem when i was in my 7 month ,my amiotic fluid was reduced considerbly i was told to b on bed rest and take lots of water,fruit juices,tender coconut water,buttermilk and milk,within 1andhalf months my amiotic fluid became alright i had a safe norm delivery.
if ure gyne has told u to b in bed rest plz do so.
