Name: Nitika hi every1 well i am 20 weeks pregnant and i have noticed whenever is my due date for my pieriods i sometimes notice a brown discharge then follows by pink spotting?please help me y does it happen?i also feel veryyyy dizzy when it happens and.i went to my doc he says its not good but the spotting stops in a day and he checked the baby is fine,will it happen every month and y does it happen i get very scared?please help me.

You have to check before using medicine because does foetal growth is required or not.Then only you use it because medicines would be high dosage and it will not effect the health.

Spotting is ok, take some bedrest and have good diet.

Have you done the ultra sound? then you must have hear the heart beat of your baby. Your Dr may not be able to hear the heart beat till 11-or 12 weeks

HI Nitika , no need to worry

Hi Nitika,
I also had the same prob in or around me 20th week, initially it was for 1 day and thn stops, it happened 2 times.
thn next it occurs continously for 8-9 days,though in the 2-3 day i came to know the reason of bleeding.
Thought mine placenta is too low lying but the reason of continous bleeding is a growing cervical Polyp.
This Polyp was the cause of bleeding, th my doctor decided to remove it and after a minor operation I am feeling ,much better by God grace.

I was also in same situation and feeling dizzy when it happend.

If u are feeling any thing like mine case thn consult ur doc... otherwise in low lying placeta, my doc also told me that i may face this in future.

No reasons to worry...

I too had the same problem for a few months and my gynec said it could be from the cervix and there is no reason to worry. I was advised not to strain myself physically , but was allowed to carry on with my routine stuff. I had a healthy pregnancy and have a baby boy now.

Dont Worry

Hi nitika,
Congrates for ur pregnancy,anyway u pass the half the weeks u need to pass another half weeks.
If Ur Baby is well no need too worry ..I don’t know exactly but one of my frnd also have the same problem she too have the brown discharge so she went to doctor .Doctor told her that she has some infection so it is coming like that and doc given some medicines for her .It stopped the discharge in same month she not at all had that discharge again now she had a baby boy .
The boy to so healthy ..so what is Ur problem Ur doctor better know well about U.Take the doc advice .
