hii i m a mom of 9 month old daughter.. and from the past one month or sooo...my daughter has been having sever constipation problems..her poop is soo hard that she cannot excrete without my help.. i stopped giving her solid foods and kept her on liquid juices like pear juice,apple juice, orange juice and carrot juice..but i c no change in her... her teeth r also not out yet..i live here in the uk and at present cannot avail the health services... can anyone plzz help me.. i m really worried yestrday i gave her saunf ka pani which she refused to take..plzz help i will be really thankful to al of u..

You can get either glycerin or bisacodyl suppositories in any Indian pharmacy - I recommend saving money by not buying child-size ones, instead cutting adult supps in half to make a child-size dosage.

Most doctors say banana doesn't help - the potassium in it makes constipation worse. Remember you can make your own prune puree in a blender. Grape, grapefruit and papaya are also laxative fruits. And remember you can safely use baby suppositories as often as you need to (they also help with "training" the baby to do a dirty at the same time every day)... - Su 03 [View Message]
