I would like to know which milk would suit my 18th month old son in india as i am planning a trip there soon and any other specific precautions can be taken during that time.Any good daipers also available there?

You havenb't mentioned where you will be going in India and what type of milk you plan to use - formula or cow's milk. Most cities have homogenized pastuerized cow's milk with diff levels of fat ( chennai has aavin ). If you're from US and not interested in transitioning to cow's milk here in India ( a lot of my frineds say cow's milk in India has laxative effect ) , then formula is best . You get brands like Lactogen, NAN in most big supermarkets.
