Hi priya,

Spinach really helps. If you can puree it and add to his khichdi or something, It is supposed to be a sure shot.

HI! Constipation is a common feature for babies who are feed on breat milk. My Ped. would always tell me that till my daughter is on breast milk she may pass stool even once in a week and its normal. Need not worry. This is the way child would gain weight. However to give some relief from hard stool you may add loki/ kaddu/ ghiya in her khichari/ dal. It should be properly mashed and becomes a smooth paste in the dal. This would give some fibres in teh baby's stomach to pass soft stool. Try to avoid banana, give mangoes. Curd cannot be given till 10 months. Give dalia / porridge prepared in milk. I hope it works.
