Hi all,
I have 5yrs old girl child who is very skinny and weight is only 13kg. I went to so many dr but they said she is clever n other things r good so dont think abt weight. But i am in much depression that how to gain weight. Please help me Suman replied. Hello dear the same was my case and then i also visited many doctors but none of the doctors treated well and they all were giving medicines but nothing was going the way we wanted so finally we decided to just wait and watch and we are happy now. Hi there according to me you should show your child to a specialist as that is the best solution and i am sure the doctor will guide you properly and even give proper medicine if required, please go as per the doctors way as they can give a proper solution to it. Hello dear you are not the only one who is facing this problem so please relax and just chill as this is very common issue and it should be serious about the same and your kid will start gaining the weight after the age of seven so please have patience. Hello every one the same is the issue with my son as well as he is under weight according to his age and height, please advice me as well as what can be done as my son also looks very week and weights only 40 kg and he is 12 years of age please advice. Hello madam you will not believe but then my son was only 20kgs at the age of seven we were also very much worried but then the doctors suggested some good medicines to which my son was getting hungry at regular intervals and by this way he started gaining weight. According to me you are taking pressure without any reason and when the doctors are also saying not to worry then why are you taking so much tension and why are you thinking that in future as well your daughter will not gain the weight so please stop taking so much tension. Hello dear first of all please relax and calm down as you are taking undue pressure and why are you feeling depressed for such a small thing as your child is very young and there is lot of time for her to gain weight so please do not take tension and be happy. Hey dear please stop worrying so much as this is really not a big issue and can resolve easily, please start giving your child a banana with milk every morning and see the results in am month as i am sure she will start gaining weight and all your problems will be eased off. Hello dear this is really not a case to worry as your daughter is only five years and slowly she will gain weight so please do not worry as even my daughter was weighing very low in initial age but then soon after few years she started gaining weight and now i am really happy. Pritu replied. Hi By this time most of the kids stay active hence the things they eat does not stay in the body for longer period of time. Kids usually like to eat things which are sweet and have a lil bit of chocolate in it. You can give her chocos for breakfast with milk. As it contains coco and everything she will put on weight. NN replied. If the doctors are saying that there is nothing to be worried about as her weight is not causing any problem then you should listen to them. And as far as i know 13 kg for a 5 year old is not that less. Ritu replied. The best way to gain weight is by supplements but your daughter is quite young for them so try increasing vitamins and minerals in her diet that will help her gain weight. If you search on the internet you will easy find what food is good to help gain weight.
