1) my baby iz pinching us severly..i dunt know whatz making her to pinch..we cant say pinching itz sort of sqeezing using all her fingers..but itz terrible..yday her dad screamed n his skin peeled frm his hand..i thought may b she iz njoying our scream..so i kept silence without shouwing any action while she pinches.but she iz doin it again n gaian..i used to wrap my hand with aby cloth carry her.i am afraid expexting her to pinch any time..heheee
2) abt my baby's potty n cloth diaper cleaning....
potty-after she poops i will flush out the wastes n wash the potty with hot water pouring some dettol..then i will wash with detergent water.n finally with some tap water.
cloth diaper- i will keep ready half of a bucket filled with water(with 2 caps of dettol)
evrvytime she wets her cloth i will rinse in plain tap water n put it in the bucket of water..if she poops i will flush out the waste and then rinse in tap water n put it in bucket..so the bucket will have 12 to 15 diapers a day.at night i will drain the water frm the bucket n fill with fresh tap water n add detergent powder..put it in semiauto washing machine n make it to rotate for 6 rounds,drain the water.then again add 2 to three trips of plain water n wash untill all the detergent powder clears.then to teh final wash i will add 1 cap of baby fabric softener for fragrance.drain it n dry it inside home(no balcony at home)..then after it dries i will iron it n fold.
iz thiz hygiene enough or i shud take more hygeinic care??
3) i am using bath chair for my baby..now she iz too tall for the bath chair..so i think i shud switch to some other way for bathing..i dunt know how to use bath tub..wunt the baby slip??
4)i will wash my baby's bottom evevrytime in washbasin after wetting her diaper.now she iz heavy to carry her n wash her become more squuirmy..i am afraid whther i will drop her down..so plz tell me how to clean her...i dunt like baby wipes


Hetal replied. 1. pinching : well, babies do that..just to check your responses,,my baby used to do that at her 9months,,whenever she did that we felt she was feeling unsecured/neglected as it was more during the times when we talked something interesting,,and when discussions happens, often we forget to look at our baby,,though she in our hands,,and this is just the way she asks for attentions,,helloow m here,,i too want to talk...

so observe what times she does that,,,baby above 6months and above often asks for attention in different ways...it makes them feel secured,,and its good that they are expressing it !! its also a desire to comminicate and its perfectly normal..its because of their inability of cope with their own frustration,,,just make sure you divert her mind,keep trying,,because if she graduates in this further, she might become aggressive and learn to hurt others in future,,,,,so absorb all of her frustrations,,whenever she is about to pinching or is pinching,,,,just hold her hand, talk to her making an eye contact, and relax her fingers,,open them...or whnever you are talking with other members of family once a while throw your attention with eyes or action to your baby..rem your baby looks upon you for every single detail..its upto you to catch her.

2.you are good in taking care of your baby hygiene,,wouldnt like to comment..as far as your baby is not getting ne diaper rash,m fine ! try to wash your baby diaper atleast once in HOT water,,in your machine..

3.go baby bath tubs,,these often are available in india and in US and other countries too,,they come in various sizes and are Inflatable,,,they are made for babies and there is no way baby can slip in that..it can fit in US style bath tubs also,,so you will prevent yourself from splashes...apply soap to your baby and make him sit with a toy in this baby tub,,and you can rinse him nicely whether or not you put this baby tub inside or outside the actual bath tub ! no problem...go for the one that holds a child from infant to 35- 40lbs or 2-3years of yrs/toddler years..also, these tubs has a small outlet from which it can be drained in minutes,,so if you do that, you wont need to fill in the air all the time !!! you can clean it with or without air,,and easy to drain in normal tub,,just keep it in vertical postion ! great for bubble baths and training your kids for swimming pools...

4..clean her in bath tub ! no problems..i have seen parents doing that during indian style potty training, in US,,once cleaning her is done, just put the tap full and just give a light rinse on the walls of the bath tub !!!

also, if that feels dirty to you,,just get a plastic tub but small/big enough to make him stand in it and holds good water..., and keep that in your bath tub below water,,whenver you want to clean,,just wash her in that small tub,, all the time,,and drain the dirty water in western toilets for fast draining !!!! rinse the tub well and then wipe with clorox wipes for further hygiene.or ne sanitising wipes..these are often available in bulk warehouses...a good wash with hot water,or wipe with dettol is also enough ...u can throw that dettol wipe in wash with her cloth diapers !!
