hi priya,
yeah, asmita is right...ragi and nachni are the same. my daughter is allergic to wheat, so make nachni parathas for her. the same powder i make in a dough and then into a roti shape.
its high in protein and carb. so its a ideal diet for a child. (same as a portion of dal + rice)

hi.i was told by a friend of mine that ragi and nachni are the same,though i could not verify it to be more sure.i got ragi powder from indian grocery store and used it for my baby.are you in India or US.try very little initially.bye,take care.
