dear friends,iam a regular reader of this thread.my problem is that my daughter has the habit of lying.recently the complain which i got from her teachers was that she had scibbled some bad words about a boy and a girl of their class.that childs mother took the book to the principal when the handwritings were matched it was found that it was my daughter who had done it.the matter was hushed up because she is good in her studies.on me questioning my daughter she said she would not do that again but my concern is that she already had been speaking a lot of lies over trivial things even with her friends and with us that i find a little hard to beleve her also this habit should not effect her studies.she is very fond of playinf computer games but i have limited them lately.How do i stop this habit of lyinf and how do i convince her to be friends only with good children Ranga replied. Firstly, don't panic.these are very common things especially with early teenagers. Whil i do not know the age of your kid, guess she is in early teens or nearing it. Since she seems to be more intersted in computers, chweck if she is also into chatting or surfing internet. She may be browsing adult sites and taht cold be causing this behaviour. Check if she is in wrong company in school or neighbourhood. If any of teh above is going on, you need to deal with this in a very matrured manner and perhaps talk to her and de mystify adult matters to her in a open and matter of fact manner. hope this helps paru_vythi replied. my dear,
i thing the problem may be with he age. i don,t know in what age is she. but donot show her that u are not believing her. u can told her in smooth way that lying is not good. nobody vil believe u even u are telling truth, and u can go 4a cousellers help also
