Hi All,
We met with our RE y'day and he said our case can be an \";unexplained infertility\"; :-(.He suggested us to go for IUI ,stimulated or non stimulated cycle.I m on CD14 today so he said we can go for Natural IUI this cycle with OPK. I m bit excited but tensed abt this.What is the success rate of this ? Anybody got pregnant with Natural IUI?Hope I can get some prayers and opinions from u all..Good Luck and Lots of Baby dust to all the TTCers Mithu replied. Yes babyfairy I think iIUI is same as non medicated AI cycle.We did all the test other than post coital one.So our Re said there is chances i can get pg thru this if i m having hostile mucus. So praying and Hoping for the best..Good Luck with ur IVF...U r in my prayers :)Can i ask u what made u IVF? Did u undergo IUIs?

I was also scheduled to havea natural IUI last cycle, but i opted out of it bcoz we know that the problem in our case is my PCOS.

but i think that natuarl IUI might be a good option in unexplained fertility. though the percentage of success is relatively same as normal sex with one follicle, i have read that it is more successful than the the normal BD n unexplained infertiltiy( bcoz of sperm not to intercat much with cervical mucus and so on..)

Is natural IUI the same as a non- medicated AI cycle? If so, then your chances to conceive are only 20%. I went to my RE yesterday. Hr actually gave me a % for a medicated AI cycle as 20%, which is even lower than trying normally. We decided to go with IVF because my chances of pregnancy with IVF is 65-70%.
