Hi ,

My baby is 9 months old. He used to eat ric, dal , veggies cooked and mashed. Past few days he has indigestion and although we have givem him Domstal twice a day , he's still not OK after 3 days. He's also sleeping a lot more now. Do you think he's teething or something ?

HI,
My daughter is 1yr old, when she was 8+ she too had the same problem. She refused to have any solids and was literally on BM. I guess it was due to teething because as her first two teeth came out her eating habits improved. Meanwhile you can give your baby veg soup( pressure cook dal ,potato , carrot and peas and blend it in a mixer),whole grain toast, biscuits etc.
Be patient, they will soon regain their appetite

My baby is now 10+ months old. From last 3-4 weeks, she suddenly stopped taking food..be it anything from soup, juice, dal, cerelac etc. She just wants BM all the time. I tried a variety of foods. Consulted doctor also, he says it happens in some babies. No particular reason for this. She is also teething, sleeps for more time than earlier. Her routine has changed a lot. Most problematic is the feding time. I have to push the food inside her and she cries a lot but at this stage of development, she needs to take proper food. Please help/advise. I am too worried abt this.

Hi,
I think Domstal is used for vomitings.U can stop it for a while and Instead try to use some ajwain n jeera powder in his diet.give him more fluids.give him some light food in the night time .U can try some veg soups 'coz it will improve his apetite since hes not having solids and will get essential nutrients.
