Hi Vidhya,

My daughter used to do this same thing. She ate mashed food until 18 months and gave me a tough time. I would suggest that you start with soft bananas and slowly introduce her to unmashed food. Out of 4 meals a day I had made it a point to give her atleast one meal unmashed to start with. Try putting small pieces of bread and butter on her high chair tray.... maybe she will like to pick it up and eat on her own. Just keep trying. My daughter suddenly started having unmashed food. Don't take it too hard on urself and ur baby... give her sometime.
