completely agree with rashpals advice, pls do not add sugar to you baby's diet, pospone for as long as u can, ur baby cannot miss something he/she has never tasted...low salt/sugar diet is best in the first few years.

I would NOT add sugar to anything for a baby. There is absolutely no reason to do that. Babies don't need any additives for anything as their taste palettes are different than an adult's would be. You may find the food/milk they eat bland/bitter, but they do not. Don't add anything - sugar is probably the absolute worst thing you can get your child used to.
