hello friends i am the mother of 13 months baby boy,,,,,till now i am giving him motherfeding..as he turn one year now i've planned to stop feeding him,but i dont know how to stop immediately tell me some suggestion.

hi kavitha,

I breastfeeded my baby till 18 mths.just last mth i stopped her feed.whn she turned 15 mth i gradually stopped her day feed n only continued her night feed.she used to scream in afternoon for feed as she was habitual to it for her sleep.she dint sleep for 3 days.but in 4th day she slept withot feed.this way i stopped her day feed.for her night feed just last month i started giving her heavy meal at night n started patting her for her sleep.same way she took 3 to 4 days to leave her habit.she screamed cried bt i dint give her.now she hug me tightly n i pat her she sleeps very nicely.

try after few mths as ur baby is still in feed n stop gradually than sudden

hi,
I also hv a daughter of 13 months.... dor stopping my feed I did....

1- started giving her more solids so that she hardly feels hungry.

2- I putted cellophin tape on the nipple .. whenever she sucks she irritates.

3-I also divrted her mind whenever she demands milk.
my friend gave me this idesa and it worked for me... hope it works for u too..
