soon after my delivery, i started loosing my hair.my baby is now 6 months old & this hair loss is just increasing everyday.at this rate i' m worried if i' ll get bald .whenever i run my fingers through my hair, comb it or take a shower, i loose tons of it.it just keep falling & its all over the place.i pretty much have to vacuum everytime i comb my hair & in shower i see lots of hair on the floor after my bath.

i had very nice, long, thick hair.but 2 years back, i had a very horrible experience with a hair stylist.she thinned out my hair without even mentioning it to me.she thinned it out so badly that my scalp was almost visible.i cried so much on that day, felt horrible.since then i have some hair that has grown back, but nothing like before.now i' m loosing whatever little hair i have also.i' m getting worried about this.

can you please give me some tips to prevent hair fall, grow my hair back & also to get my hair to grow thicker?

any products, any procedures you would to recommend?

During pregnancy, due to the release of certain hormones in our blood, hair fall is reduced, so even strands of dead hair cling on and don' t fall off. After the baby is born, these strands fall off along with regular hair loss. At this time, it seems like a ton of hair is falling. It' s normal. Don' t worry about it. Worrying and trying too many oil massages, etc will only make it worse. Meeta' s recommendations are good.

1.Good good quality herbal products only.
2. Consume fresh green amla juice. If not available then buy the packed bottle for it.
3.Eat nuts (soaked almonds) and green veggies and fruits and drink milk.
4. Do not tie your hair tightly specially while sleeping.
5.Do not comb wet hair. Before combing after hair wash, apply something like livon to detangle the hair and comb with less hairloss.

How to deal with this?
I feel that my husbands parents are using their son. My husband is from India and I am from the USA. He obtained his greencard and citizenship through me after coming here. He is a physician and obtained his residency training. I worked to earn for our family for two years until he got his job. Then he applied for his parents to visit us on a visiting visa. RE:self centered inlaws
I agree they have completely double standards as I recently found out. I saw my husbands childhood photos when he was young. His parents claim they sacrificed everything for their kids and lived poor and behave like martyr parents. Got treated as free domestic servant. But the photos showed them dressed like Bollywood stars with watches and jewellery enjoying their life. O... - Tina [View Message]

RE:Mother-in-law spoiling my child
hello kajal,
if you are rudely talking with her, then this is not way to talking with your mother in law, you tell her in polite way, your son is her grand son, so she never think about his bad effects.... - ruchita [View Message]
RE:Mother-in-law spoiling my child
hello kajal,
stop your negative thinking towards your mother in law, she is your son grand mother too, so if she gave some sweet like sugar to him its just because of her love towards him.... - reshma [View Message]
