My baby is 6mths n 4 days old,i m still activelu nursing,will b starting solids next week,i tried giving formula to him in a sippy glass,but seems like he does not like the taste,SO i tried giving him water in the same sippy and he nicely has its on his own,,the problem is only formula..he has learnt how to suck with a sippy,have tried all types of formula but no sucess.Have also tried the bottle but he refuses to take.....pls help Ashish Chandra replied. Do you think the baby does not know what it likes and does not like? There can be no substitute for breast milk, as far as Indian knowledge goes. Everything else, like cow milk/buffalo milk/goat milk, can act only as a supplementary food item, to be given in conjunction with other solid foods.

Why don't you ask your mom? Here in the US, they push the formula on you as if it is God's gift to moms. But ask your mother - I am sure she gave you cow/buffalo/goat milk as early as 3-4 months old.

Tina katwa replied. hi even i had a same problem for my baby ,so i think u can change the nipple which u r using tour baby,they will cry for 2 days but when they get hungry they will start taking it, try when ur baby will sleep that is a best option to make them habbit if it does't help u can change ur bottle.
