Feeding:ghee in formula ?

Is it okay to add a few drops of warm ghee while making formula for a 8 month old baby ? I know we can make veges sauce/khichdi with a little ghee. But what about formula ? My baby is high on formula and eats less of veges :(

Formula is already high in fat. It might not be necessary to add. Also, it is not advisable to add excessive fat to a baby's diet. It is not good for the liver.

You can try pureed fruits - you could steam apples or pears and puree it fine. Try mashed bananas with rice cereal. A baby is likely to refuse to a food atleast 10 times before he/she accepts it. Have you tried rice-dhal kichadi? Cook it and blend it with little salt and ghee. Calories in a baby's diet should not come from fat alone.

Hope this helps.
