How are you? I have received the results of my Integrated screen test.
1) NT = 0.72 MoM
2) PAPP-A = 0.77 MoM
3) AFP = 1.34 Mom < 2.50 MoM
4) HCG = 1.36 MoM
5) UE3 = 0.79 MoM
6) Inhibin = 2.05 MoM
7) Down Syndrome = Screening risk < 1:10,000
8) Trisomy 18 = Screening risk < 1:10,000
9) ONTD = 1:4000

Questions:
1) I had slight fresh vaginal bleeding just before my second level blood work at 16 weeks. Would this affect the results in any way? Please kindly suggest.

2) I have very frequent nose bleed now a days , which I never had before. Is this normal ?

3) Also, I have to go to India for my cousin's marriage and would have to visit about 3 cities in 15 days. My husband tells me it is not safe for you to travel. Is it safe and advisable to travel as I am in my fifth month. I would be taken well care of in India.

Please kindly advise soon on the above quesitons.

sorry for late response, as I did not visit this board from a long time.
without ultrasound I am not in a position to comment on your travel. yes the travel in 5th months with normal posterior upward placenta is perfectly fine. Have this placenta position confirmed. I am worried because you said you have had bleeding prior to blood analysis and might have to do with placenta being on low position. If placenta is low lying forget about marriage and visit to India. That's advise in the best interest of fetus, res you will decide.

nose bleeds are normal and are due to dryness in weather, it could get worse in winter. try to use saline drops.

no, bleeding prior to analysis would not impact your analysis.

your restuls so far looks alright. check with ob still.
