hello!

i hv son who will turn to 2 in these nov. he talks too much and understand everything. but my problem is if he see someone his age or elder to him, he always try to hit him by saying 'hatta, hatta', i m in joint family and intially my MIL was doing same thing in front of him but now she is also not doing but somehow, he always wants to hit someone and especially if he notice that other kid is mild than him, he will bit that kid but if any strong kid come across to him, hejust ocme and sit besides me.

He will go to school at 2. can u pl. advice me how can i prevent him for not to hit anyother people.

pl. help me asap.

Zena, i really like ur idea and now i m trying same thing.

Poorni, i took my MIL to one conseller and now she is also co-operating me for this problem.

Rashmi, as u rightly said granparents are many time problem for us especially in child rearing method. but i don't know what happened to my MIL since few days now she is calm and not very much interfering in my and amal'z issue.

I too had the same problem My son is 3yrs.U would not beleive I have literally made him quiet clam rather than what he was before, One fine day I took 4 teddy bear's in front of him & I named them with 3 different name, where as the 4th Teddy Bear was named by his name YASH, I told him that these are your classmates Ok, Then what i told him next was that He being the strongest he use to hit everyone in the school & at home Suddenly One fine day the Other teddy(Raj) turned to grow stronger than him, Cause his mother use to give him Complan,But RAJ use to never beat anyone hence, Everyone started liking RAJ & Not YASH, They Use to say Raj is a good boy But not YASH cause YASH beats everyone, Immdiately there came a Reply no Mama I also would not beat everyone,Hence ever since then He has clam down nearly 80% than ever before...TRY IT OUT........ poorni replied. hi da
by seeing ur problem i am thinking of my son. this is the correct age to control. coz i had left my son in that age and now in 4yrs i am facing difficulties. actually they are little bit hyper. but their grasping power will be more. they can easily understand everything and they can give the details more.
first i'll u suggest is - take one counselling for ur son telling ur mother in law - its just a try. take her also. so only she can easily understand. ask ur doctor to tell the messages to her and also infront of her. i did the same thing. so mu mil got somwat ok.
second thing if he is interested join him in pre school sort and ask him to watch some real cartoon movies like finding nemo, madagascar etc...
third thing if u want to tell anything just carry him into one room speak it politely. if u shout he'll shout at u and with all.
