Hi Archi n all,
I am trying to concieve but all efforts are fail now my Dr. prescribe me Clomid50mg from CD3 to CD7.I am just curious to ask that is it a effactive medicine I mean is there anyone who used it and concieved.What are the results?
My 2nd question is there any side effects of this medicine??Does anybody face any side effcet?
Today is my CD1 so i have to start on CD3rd please share your exprinces.

I saw your messages and you are in the same condition.My dr.prescribe me clomid50mg from this cycle lets see the result.This is my first cycle. As i am 35yrs so I don't want to wait for some more cycles.I will let you know if i get some positive result.

Thanks for reply,actually i was little scared because i heard that all these medicians give a side effect also so i was little bit tense.I tried 1 yr and due to my ag my Dr. is recommending m Clomid.I am 35+in age.i have a kid of 5 yrs.Anyway i will go for it and see.I hope it will helpful for me.

Asud replied. I have used clomid as well and did not have any success with it, but as whynot mentioned everyone one is different. Most doctors use clomid as the first step, however it is not recommended that you use it longer than 6mths. You will notice on clomid that you will have very dry cm, some use guaifensen (i.e. cough syrup) to increase cm. Check with your doctor about ways to increase cm naturally, some drink lots of water, or grapefruit juice or eat lots of baby carrots.

Prolonged use of clomid has been known to cause uterine lining problems, some doctors suggest skipping a month in between treatments in order get the clomid out of your system.

Try searching the web for more information, and if I am incorrect about anything...please let me know.

Asud whynot replied. I used Clomid a couple of times but I had no side effects. Every womans body reacts differently to a medicine. Since most of the physicians prescribe Clomid to infertile women.....it shud' be a reliable medication. Clomid is a fertility drug which is associated with an approximately 10% multiple pregnancy birth rate. Duznt mean u'll have twins or triplets if u take clomid.
How many yrs are u ttc?
