Name: whynot hi all....looks like this yr is going to bring me some good luck.Right from jan 1st all my tests and husbands tests are positive. Though my tests have been good always my husbands semen analysis was always bad. Its improved now. We were schoked after seeing the report yestarday. Volume, ttl no. of motile sperm in ejaculate,motility,morphology all are increased. Eg.. Motility has to be >=50% . It was 34% when tested in dec 03. Now it shows 49%.
Say a prayer for me.

one query...is that if the sperm count is less then it wont help much going for ICSI?

Dear Sonia,
Thanks 4 the wishes. The semen analysis reports are extraordinarily good.I just hope i get pregnant and not have to do the donor sperm.
If the sperm count is less, it necessarily duz not affect ICSI.We did ICSI coz his sperm count was bad and Dr. took out the best few sperms and my egg quality was always good....so the embryos looked no.1 as far as quality was concerned.
Now the only hurdle that I have to pass is the HSG. Hope the tubes are open.

Hi Whynot,
My name is Anumita and I have been a reader and member of this board. I am now pregnant after 4 years of trying..I got so many test done and it was negative for me as well as for my husband. After that we both underwent treatment, Delhi and Mumbai both places. Got IUI and ICSI done several times. Got one IVF done but no success. This time my husband's tests were postive and we got IVF done. And It was successful. So please don't worry about anything. I waited and I know its so hard to just wait and see..But belive mw if you worry, it won't help. Just be positive adn stay healthy. Consult a good doctor and pray to God! He will surely listen.
I will pray for you guys..Keep us posted about any new development..

I too have gone thru several IUI's,IVF's,ICSI's. What was the problem in ur case? Mine is male infertility.
