Dear All,

Can anyone pls tell me how much one should pay to a maid servant
1)who stays 8am to 7pm and does cleaning vessels,one time cooking (chapat,dal,one sabjee),daily sweeping n mopping for a 3 members family.
2)If she does all above things and also takecare of the baby who is 16 months old from 8am to 7pm,then how much we should pay.
3)will do all above household work and sometimes she has to takecare of baby when baby doesnt go to creche.
pls suggest me.

My maid takes care of the baby(16 months) plus helps a little in cooking. Baby related activities like washing baby' s clothes, preparing baby feeds, feeding, playing, etc plus cutting vegetables, grating coconut, making chapatis once in a week, making dosa/idli batter. She works from 8 am to 6 pm. For this normally people demand around 4000 and is quite reasonable too.
This is in South Bangalore.

I know people in Bangalore paying 1-1.5 thousand only for baby sitting(from 9AM to 6PM) . I think u can pay a max of 2-2.5 thousand .

I am a mother of 4 years old son and I am working woman. I usually left home by 9 in morning and reach by 8 in evening.
I usually get quality time with my son on Sundays/holidays. But then as i reach home by 8 eve, I realy work hard to finish the work and food by 10 or 10:30 to make love with my son coz i love him very much after my husband.
