is it ok if my baby refuses to eat solids as she is teething? She used to eat rice etc but now she doesnt like anything. Please advise.

Thanks Surrinder replied. Best Thing is to give milk only during teething as the child is having pain and give teething Rusks.

Don't worry my son is 9 1/2 mos. and he has been going through the same thing. My doctor said that no baby will ever starve itself. Give her ice chips or a popsicle and then try feeding her, that will numb her gums and stop the pain. My doctor also said to make sure he is hydrated, give lots of water and fruit juice (I mix it with water so there is less sugar). The only thing my son will eat is rice mixed with lentils and it has to be very soft (mash it up with a fork)and just room temperature not warmed up. Hope this helps.
