I am really worried that my 7 month old baby all of a sudden stopped drinking milk from the bottle. Whether it's formula or Breastmilk he pushes the bottle with his hands and not even sucking the bottle nipple.
Though the babies of this age starts on solids, I think they should consume at least little amount milk everyday till they reach their 1st year.
Does anyone knows how much milk a 7 month old should take after taking some gerber solid foods.

Actually my biggest worry is he is not taking the bottle at all, and he doesn't know to drink from a sippy cup yet. Someone, PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Thanks so much for your advice. I tried the ideas you have mentioned but nothing works with my baby.
when I tried to give the sippy cup, he bites it not sips thru it.
When I tried feeding him thru a spoon, he cries so much and doesn't swallow the milk/water we give him. The moment I make him lie on me laps to feed him with spoon, he cries loud and catches the spoon.
I know his body is really dehyrating and because of this, he got the constipation problem too.

I even tried the baby orajel per my dr.'s advice but no luck.
I don't know what else I need to do. I am really worried a lot about his behaviour but don't know what to do.
PLEASE HELP!! Mom replied. My baby is 9 and half months old and she stopped taking the bottle around 6 and half months. I am full time working mom, she used to drink pumped breastmilk in the bottle from her 2nd month, all of a sudden she stopped. We tried sippy cup all kinds of nipples nothing worked. She doesnot drink breastmilk or formula from bottle. I was so much worried and did not know what to do. Now I just take out the spill proof from the sippy cup and pour little little milk in her mouth and she drinks. I do this two or three times in a day. My baby doesnot take the bottle even when she is sleeping.

Iam sailing in the same boat. My baby will be 10 months next week and he still does not drink milk with bottle. I am making him drink with spoon. He will take bottle only when he is half asleep. Otherwise it is very difficult for me to make him drink through bottle. Even I tried the Sippy cup as told by his doctor but he bites the cup as he is teething. He takes 3 solid meals and 18 to 20 oz formula.
Do not worry. It happens when children are teething they will not take bottle.
