Role of in-laws:how to handle this

hey friends,
this is my story ....
i am married since last 2 and half years.but never really had a healthy relationship with my inlaws.I am in US and i stay with my inlaws.Husabnd is working and living in another state since 1 yrs.i was working so didnt want to leave the current job and join him last yr.
but i this period i have had major troubles with my Ils and during the beginning of the yr my parents were also involved and had a fight sort of with my IL's over the fone.
since that time nor my parents or Ils are on talking terms...not that they were close before to each other before the argument. my ILs have insulted my parents when they called us during my Weddign anniv due to which my parents are very upset. currently my mil has gone to india fo r a visit for a mth and my parents have not gone to see her..which is kinda pratical that after a fight they dont want to meet her but
she(mil) is very much frustrated with that and she pointed out tht to me while i talked to her over fone last week.
anothere thing is that i have now found a job where my husband is living in California and planning to move by last week of Jan

my problem is that how will i handle this situation because i know that once she is back she is gonna have a big fight with me over my parents no visiting them while they were in india and somehow i am moving by end of mth which i feel that inside she is not very happy with so she will try and pick up a fight on somethinng
please give me your advice on how to tactfully handle this situation ? because i dont want to give them a chance to say that our DIL fought with us when she was leaving.

thanks in advance for patiently listening to my story

What does ur mil think, the president of USA ? When she lands in India, why should she be given a red carpet welcome by ur parents just because she is the son's mother landed from america. Look, either she is feeling guilty about fighting with ur parents or she thinks she is some god.

don't give importance to this issue, there are several more to come and were there before this. If u keep finding ways to solve them then ur mind won't have anything other than, mil, tact, mil, tact, mil, tact ... and then its a vicious circle.

How to deal with this?
I feel that my husbands parents are using their son. My husband is from India and I am from the USA. He obtained his greencard and citizenship through me after coming here. He is a physician and obtained his residency training. I worked to earn for our family for two years until he got his job. Then he applied for his parents to visit us on a visiting visa. RE:self centered inlaws
I agree they have completely double standards as I recently found out. I saw my husbands childhood photos when he was young. His parents claim they sacrificed everything for their kids and lived poor and behave like martyr parents. Got treated as free domestic servant. But the photos showed them dressed like Bollywood stars with watches and jewellery enjoying their life. O... - Tina [View Message]

RE:Mother-in-law spoiling my child
hello kajal,
if you are rudely talking with her, then this is not way to talking with your mother in law, you tell her in polite way, your son is her grand son, so she never think about his bad effects.... - ruchita [View Message]
