From the past 2 months my 5& a half yr daughter has started getting up at night & crying.she gets weird dreams & is visibly paranoid

I have a little girl the same age. I would say it is a phase which will likely pass as quickly as it comes,
but, until then, you can try doing these things and see if it helps...
-keep her on a routine where she goes to bed the same time everynight.
-before putting your child to bed, brush her hair or read her a story, do something to get her really relaxed for bedtime.
-keep a nightlite in her room, this may help her if she wakes in the night.
-keep a record of the hour she waks up each night. There are different levels of sleep and if you can narrow down the hour every night she wakes, you could actually go to her first and be there to comfort her before she fully wakes and cries.

I know that sounds exhausting, but you are probably not sleeping well already if you know your child is having trouble at night.
