Hi friends,

I am going through a tough situation, me and my hubby have united after a long separation, legal battle(1 yr). He shifted to another city where i have arranged for everything, since i am working . All legal battle ended just two days ago.Prob. is from past two days he hasn't come to home. First day he called me and said he is going somewhere, he'll be very late therefore he won't come tonight. Second day he called me again in the evening saying that today also he won't come bcoz his friend is giving bachelors party and he has to attend it. till today he hasn't called me up and i don't have any clue about his whereabouts as he don't has his cell. I am living all alone in my newly shifted house taking care of my baby , leaving ,picking him to cretche, coming to office etc. all doing myself. I haven't told about this to my parents bcoz they already have faced lots of pain bcoz of my maried life. Just don't know how to handle this situation.
Yesterday when i heard that he is not returning bcoz of party i become very much irritated but to know use. I told him that ur party is much more important to u than us. He said no u both are also important otherwise i would have not returned to u. If i'll complaint he'll say u r arguing,I am feeling quite insecure. I don't know about his intensions. When we moved to our new house he only told me that he love me and my son a lot. Its difficult to control my emotions. Pls. suggest me how to react. How should i treat him if i'll recieve a call again from him. I don't want to spoil our relationships again but this doubtfull, sad feeling is killing me from inside. Pls. Tell me how should i make him realize how much he had troubled me. Till now i don't know whether he is going to come tonight or not? Tell him how i can tell him importance of his family.
Pls. Help as i am very tense.
Thanks in advance.

Its this insecurity which makes these men behave that way. Once you stop showing all these fears, they will come running home.

You should keep calm since u ar a independant woman. The next time ur hubby calls, be really nice to him and ask him to come home soon because you and the baby miss him. When he is home, talk to him and establish a few rules. You both should make some clear guidelines as to how important this realtionship is to you and him. Now that you two have a baby, the familt unit should not be disturbed at any cost. Please stay cool and I hope ur hubby will soon realize his responsibility towards his wife and baby.

How to deal with this?
I feel that my husbands parents are using their son. My husband is from India and I am from the USA. He obtained his greencard and citizenship through me after coming here. He is a physician and obtained his residency training. I worked to earn for our family for two years until he got his job. Then he applied for his parents to visit us on a visiting visa. RE:self centered inlaws
I agree they have completely double standards as I recently found out. I saw my husbands childhood photos when he was young. His parents claim they sacrificed everything for their kids and lived poor and behave like martyr parents. Got treated as free domestic servant. But the photos showed them dressed like Bollywood stars with watches and jewellery enjoying their life. O... - Tina [View Message]

hello kajal,
if you are rudely talking with her, then this is not way to talking with your mother in law, you tell her in polite way, your son is her grand son, so she never think about his bad effects.... - ruchita [View Message]
