Body and Fitness:reduce weight to sandhya and other helpers

Hi

I have delivered 10 months ago.I want to reduce my weight.before pregnancy i was 53.Now i am 60.
I have to reduce 7.i think it may not possible but at-least 5 kg.I stopped eating rice.

this is my menu please check and tell me.I am following this since 1 month but no improvement At-lest 1/2kg

morning warm water with lemon and honey.

Breakfast corn flakes with almonds and 1 spoon sugar and 2 fat milk.

lunch 2 chapatis with curry and dal

4.00 pm tea

6.00 5 baby carrots and 200 ml orange juice

dinner crushed whole grain(godumarava)with curry/dal and curd(fat free)

no exercise exercise with baby(i am alone in USA).EVerything i have to do.

Please please just something to reduce stomach and thighs.

There are several exercises you can do at home if you are unable to leave home. Start skipping - this is a great exercise that will get your heart pumping. Since your diet seem to be okay, add a little exercise on the side - increase the time gradually. Search the web for exercises for tummy and thighs - there is plentiful. Crunches, push ups, side leg lifts, lunges are to name a few.
The hardest thing about working out at home is being consistent that is why many resort to the gym. So prepare yourself to dedicate this much time to exercise and follow it without faltering. One of my friend had this motto that whenever her baby fell asleep she would work out for an hour instead of doing other things. It kept her motivated. You will have to find your niche. Good Luck.

dear mom,
As far as i could tell, your diet looks just perfect. Infact i can probably suggest you to eat a little more, but since you already feel quite conscious of your weight, i would refrain for now. Although, you don' t want to hear this from me, i think the only option left for you would be to start working out physically.

Our bodies are designed to work hard genetically. But i know women tend to relax a little bit while pregnant and so the weight increase. But now since that baby is out for the last 10 months, you need to bring yourself back on track also.

Depending on where you are located geographically in the US i suggest that you buy yourself one of those running strollers where you can give your baby some fun while you are running. Buy some home videos for aerobics, yoga, pilates and see how that works out for you. Try pooling with one of your friends, so you could go to a gym or ride a bike around while your friend cares for the baby. Remember be very punctual with your drop off and pick up and try to be grateful for the help you are recieving.

I' m guessing you do all the household work yourself. so, that adds to the calorie burning cause also. Do let me know if you need any further ideas to look outside the window and start going out more. Hope this helps.

thaks to both of you.I am following this diet but i am not at all reduceing weight.

I will try exercises .Previously i use to goto gym for 1 hr.But the problem is i got knees pain very seviourly .Still i have that pain.
