Dear All,

My wife is around 6 wks pregnant. She saw a drop of blood fall yesterday. It there something to be worried about ? Eagerly waiting for for suggestions.

Dear Anandabrata,
My wife also had the same problem during almost the same time of her pregnancy. This can be a serious concern if not attended timely but can be normalized with full bed rest for atleast 2-3 weeks.Consult your doctor immediately. Avoid intercourse for few more weeks.

Dear Anandabrata,
congratulations.
If this is brownish blood drop and did not continue no worries, it happens in first trimester for some girls.
Any fresh blood is a concern and should be reported to her Dr. immediately.
In the event like she faced she needs to take full bed rest without getting worried. No lifting until she enters in 5th month. No intercourse either:(
