Hi Friends ,

I really need to reduce those ugly cellulite , i have a flabby thighs , how do i reduce it . Im currently on Trying to Conceive , so is it okay if i walk in treadmill for 10-20min . Im 5' 2 and weight is 54 ( age is 24) , im planning to reduce 2 more kgs.

I have another problem also , from past 2 years im on a crash diet ( i eat only one time a day like 2 sandwich and coffee and water, that' s it ) But now i realize that i cannot do this for my whole life , im scared if i eat normal food i will gain weight ( i have a habit to check my weight once in 7 days ). It will be great if a dietecian or anyone related to weight loss can help me . Pls help me .

Hi dear Vidya,
I am a PG in nutrition,stay at home mom,to 2 kids.
You have been hurting your body by eting only once a day for so long.Your body will not be in a healthy condition to conceive.Please dear,I' m quite willin to help you eihter through this board or email id if you wish,but I' d expect continuity and commitment from your end.
For starters,I' ll try replying to your Q.You can walk on the treadmill,for 10-20 min,no problem,only if you are actively trying to conceive,dont run or jog on the treadmill( safety measure as I ahve no way to measure your fitness levels now).YOu could also do 2 sets of 10-15 min walks on the mill.
Next,most important,stop your crash diet right away. you need plenty of vegetables,protein(are you a non veg?).Start with slice of whole wheat toast/porridge/fruit smoothie/yoghurt/upma/poha in the mornings,add fruit to it.
For lunch have atleast small rotis-2,with dal/fish/chicken/paneer.Add a huge salad.Dinner can be similar to lunch.Eat atleast 2-3 different fruits daily,also have 300 ml milk daily.Include a multivitamin and folate tablet daily.
Any other help I can provide only after hearing from you again.
